Summer Camp Counselor

Temporary Position from 6/3/2024-7/26/2024

Full Time: 32 -40 hours per week

Part Time: 16- 24 hours per week

Rate: Starts at $14.50

Dreams With Wings is looking for creative, compassionate, and responsible advocates looking for a meaningful, fulfilling, and fun summer job as Camp Counselors/Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with Autism and Down syndrome.

This is the perfect job for anyone looking for a summer job who is drawn to work with children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or is interested in a career in special education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, behavior supports, speech therapy, psychology, or social work.

Direct Support Professional

Full Time: 32 -40 hours per week

Part Time: 16- 24 hours per week

Rate: Starts at $15.50

*Rate is dependent on experience

The person in this position is responsible for the care, education, safety and supervision of the individuals living in a Staffed Residence, in Community Living Supports or the Adult Day Program. Support and assistance will be based on individual need.

S/he will carry out the programs that have been developed for the individuals. This role must function as a member of the Dreams with Wings team and may provide supplementary service to any individual served by Dreams with Wings. The Direct Support Professional will report to the Director of Residential, Community or Enrichment Programs.
