Welcome to our Youth Programs page! We have a variety of programs that serve children, teens, and young adults with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities, including Autism.

Our programs focus on building social, emotional, physical, and life skills in a safe and supportive environment. We partner with talented professionals from organizations of all size and areas of expertise to provide high quality programming.
Our first step when onboarding interested new clients is to fill out and submit an application using the links below. Once the application has been reviewed, an introductory call will be scheduled to discuss our offerings and how to join our programs. We look forward to serving you!

Children Programs
Big & Small
(Starting 2/4/26) Weekly Wednesday program for children ages 2–6 designed as a joyful play circle for young children and their caregivers to explore music, movement, and books in a warm, playful group setting. With a caregiver present and actively participating, families will sing, move, read, and play together while building connection, communication, and early social skills.
Perfect for little ones who already love music, stories, and shared play with a wonderful opportunity to start the journey of social engagement.

Limit of 5 children for each 4 week series.

Move, Make, Play
Weekly Saturday program for ages 7-13. This small group setting has structured sessions targeting life and social skill building designed to be fun and engaging while introducing peers to one another.
Our program managers partner with our OT Department to develop skill based activities for each session that promote physical activity, creative expression, and collaboration, preparing children and young teen for their next developmental stages.

​Limit of 8 - 10 children for each individual Saturday session.

Teen & Young Adult Programs
WingSpace Drama
Our drama programs for ages 13-29 teach communication skills, self-expression, build confidence, and encourage teamwork.

Super Sole/Soul
Our weekly Wednesday program for ages 13-29 provides experiences to move your soul and your soles!

Creative Arts in all formats (animation, film, iMovie, painting, art making workshops)

Physical Activity (boot camp, yoga, dance)

Musical Interventions (music therapy, drumming, jam sessions)

Educational sessions covering a variety of topics
Attend all or just those that match your interests while socializing with peers.
Taking it on the Road
Our Community Based Social Skills groups for ages 16-29 are offered in six week series on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Sessions are designed by a group of 8 or 9 teens/young adults and 3 staff who suggest and vote on community outings.

Each outing builds and practices interpersonal relationship skills and life skills such as self-confidence, compromise, financial literacy, time management, self-advocacy, and relationship building in a community setting.

Fees are used to provide high quality programs, professional instruction, highly trained staff, and materials used during our sessions.
We accept the following payment methods:

1. $25 Private-Pay (PayPal/Venmo/Apple Pay via debit/credit card, cash or check), that may be reimbursed by some private insurance companies (check with your provider).
​​
2. Program Scholarships or reduced fee schedules are available for individuals to attend our programs. Please email youthprograms@dreamswithwings.org for Financial Policy and Scholarship Request forms.
​
3. Michelle P Waiver Respite funds may be used for in-person sessions. Contact youthprograms@dreamswithwings.org., to initiate and coordinate use of Michelle P Waiver funds for qualifying programs.

Dreams With Wings Youth Programming is offered weekly from second week of January through the end of May and resumes in early September through the third week of December. Events are posted weekly on our calendar below. Submit an application above to be added to our email distribution list and to obtain an in person invitation with the details needed to attend.
