Meet Jamesha.....

We Respond to Need…...When someone is in need of our services, we jump into action.

Jamesha has been part of Dreams With Wings since her early teens, growing from a summer camper into an active participant in our Adult Day Program. She lived with her father, George, who always hoped she would one day take the next step and join our Residential program.

When George passed away unexpectedly earlier this year, everything in Jamesha’s world changed. Within 24 hours, Jamesha was residing in a safe environment with staff caring for her. Soon after, she found her forever home with one of our Family Home Providers.  She has fit right in and happily refers to her new siblings.  

Today, Jamesha is thriving.  She has remained active in her Buddhist SGI community.  She loves listening to Kidz Bop, going on outings, and is even tapping into her dramatic side to perform in this year’s Holiday Cabaret. Your support makes stories like hers possible. When life changes suddenly, we respond.
